Yummy S’mores Bars

The Internet truly is an amazing place. Where else could we find amazingly delicious recipes like these? Wow, are we in the mood for a yummy s’mores bar. These little guys are perfect for your child’s bake sale, or a simple afternoon snack for dessert. Whichever way you choose to incorporate this tasty treat into your meal plan they are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth. The recipe is so easy to make, grab the kiddies and have them be your special helper with this one. Now, lets get onto the ingredients! These chocolate yums consist of:


  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup of mini Hershey’s Kisses (divided)
  • ½ teaspoon of water
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ½ tablespoon of vanilla
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon of salt
  • ½ cup of flour
  • ½ cup of graham cracker crumbs (5 sheets)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grab your baking soda and water and mix them all together, once done set that bowl aside. Take your brown sugar, granulated sugar and shortening and make sure to mix them together well. Take your first bowl with the baking soda and water and begin to add your vanilla and egg. Begin then to stir in the flour, the salt, and the graham cracker crumbs. Take ½ of your Hershey’s Kisses and mix them together throughout your mix. Get a good 10-inch sized pan (greased) and begin spreading your mixture throughout the pan. Bake for about 18-20 minutes. Once done take your bars out of the oven and turn your broiler on. Grab your mini marshmallows and pop a few on top of the bars, then placing under the broiler for a good minute or so to toast up the marshmallows. Once done sprinkle a few more chocolate chips leftover and your tasty treat is complete!
