Lemon Blueberry Bread

Just by staring at this photo we can already just taste the yummy lemon blueberry bread throughout our mouth! This is one treat that were adding to the recipe book. Who doesn’t love blueberries within deliciously zesty lemon bread? A loaf like these would be perfect for a bake sale or a dessert for after dinner. Not only is this a really quick recipe but also is really incredibly easy to make. Don’t worry; even the worst baker can complete this one! If you’re in the mood for something tangy and sweet this is going to be your weakness, we swear by it. Give this dessert a shot and we promise your family and friends are going to love it.



  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of grated lemon zest
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice


Start of with preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grab a loaf pan of your choice and begin to butter the inside. Use your parchment paper to line the bottom and two sides of the loaf pan with the paper. Using a mixing bowl, mix your 1-cup of sugar, butter, eggs, and lemon juice all together. Taking a different bowl, grab your flour, salt, and baking powder and stir. Once stirred, pour your flour mixture into your egg mixture. Then begin to pour your milk and stir. Using your leftover bowl add your 2 tablespoons of flour into the bowl and throw your blueberries into the bowl. Take your lemon zest and berries and carefully fold them into your mixture. Take your loaf pan and pour your batter in while leaving in the oven for about 1 hour. To ensure your lemon blueberry loaf bread is completely cooked stick a toothpick into the middle of the loaf, if when pulled out the toothpick remains clean your bread is done. Allow to cool for about 30-40 minutes and once done enjoy this zesty treat!
