That’s why we thought it would be great to share the recipe with you.

Here’s what you’ll need:

3/4 pound of linguine

1 pound of large shrimp peeled and de-veined

3 tablespoons of unsalted butter

2 and a half tablespoons of good quality olive oil

2 and a half tablespoons of salt

vegetable oil as needed

5 tablespoons of minced garlic

1/3 up fresh, chopped parsley

the juice of two freshly squeezed lemon

1 tablespoon lemon zest

Fill the largest pot you have in your kitchen with water. Add in around 2 teaspoons of salt and a teaspoon of olive oil and bring to a rapid boil. Once the water begins to boil add in your pasta and cook for around 12 – 15 minutes or until the pasta has cooked thoroughly.

In a large saucepan melt the butter on medium heat and add in your olive oil. Next add in your garlic and sautee but be careful not to burn it as garlic tends to burn easily. Now add in your shrimp and the 1.5 teaspoons of salt.

Cook your shrimp until they turn pink. This should take around 5 minutes. Stir your shrimp often and make sure not to overcook them as they become rubbery in texture if cooked for too long. After your shrimp have cooked remove the pan from the heat.

Now add in red chili flakes, parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Toss until they have all combined.

Lastly drain your pasta and put it back in to the pot. Add in the shrimp mixture and toss until the pasta, shrimp, and all other components have been combined.

Now your delicious pasta is ready to be served!
