Strawberry Banana Popsicles

The warm, beautiful months of summer are almost upon us! While summer is amazing in almost every way it can be difficult to stay cool in the heat; but having a cool and tasty snack on hand can certainly help! These strawberry banana popsicles are not only ridiculously easy to make, they’re also healthy, tasty and the perfect treat for hot summer days. You’ll only need a few simple ingredients to make these heavenly treats!


1 pint of strawberries

2 ripe bananas that have been sliced and frozen (By freezing the bananas ahead of time you’ll be giving your popsicles a creamy consistency that they wouldn’t otherwise have)

3/4 cup of orange, mango, or pineapple juice

2 tablespoons of coconut milk (note that this is optional!)


Take all of your ingredients and throw them into a blender. Blend until the consistency is smoothie like. You don’t want to turn the mixture into a liquid otherwise the popsicle will taste more like frozen juice rather than a popsicle. Once you’ve blended your ingredients pour the mixture into popsicple molds. You can easily find those anywhere from Ikea to the grocery store. Don’t forget to add your popsicle sticks otherwise you’ll find yourself in a predicament! If you’re not able to find popsicle molds or sticks you can use plastic cups as a substitute for molds and plastic spoons as a substitute for the sticks. Leave the mixture in the freezer for at least 3 hours so that it freezes completely. When its time to serve let the molds thaw for 5 minutes or run some hot water over them if you’re in a hurry. You’re delicious and bright pinks popsicles are ready to be served!
