Peanut Butter Cookies

We all know how good chocolate chip cookies are, but peanut butter cookies are an equally delicious alternative for when you’re craving something sweet and salty. These flavorful and chewy cookies are sure to satisfy even the hardest to please sweet tooth. If you want to make these delicious treats at home, here’s what you will need.

1 cup of crunchy peanut butter

1 cup of unsalted butter

1 cup of white sugar

2.5 cups of all purpose flour

1 cup of brown sugar

2 eggs

1.5 teaspoons of baking soda

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt


In a bowl mix together the butter, the white and brown sugar, and the peanut butter together until all the ingredients combine to form a creamy consistency. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda salt, and baking powder. Sift the powdered ingredients together and then combine with the butter,sugar, and peanut butter mixture. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make one inch dough balls out of the batter and place in even rows on the baking sheet. Use a fork to flatten the balls of dough slightly. You can use the tongs fork to make¬† criss-cross pattern on the top of the cookies that are characteristic of peanut butter cookies but you don’t have to! Bake these cookies in the oven for around 10 – 15 minutes and remove when they start to brown. Serve warm with a glass of milk and enjoy!
