Out of This World Delicoius CheeseCake Milkshake

We at Online Chic have a bit of a sweet tooth. You’ve probably noticed by the number of recipes we post about baking cakes, cookies, and whatnot. Who doesn’t crave a deliciously sweet dessert? We certainly do! Rather than posting another cake recipe we thought we’d try something a little different and tell you how to create our favorite Cheesecake flavored milkshake. That’s right! Just when you thought desserts couldn’t get any better we found this amazingly delicious cheesecake milkshake recipe. It would be a crime not to share it with you all! While it’s certainly unbelievably decadent, there’s nothing wrong with indulging yourself once in a while. We love to think of this milkshake as a special treat for yourself when you’re feeling down or need a little pick me up!

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

1/3 cup cream cheese softened (you can soften it by placing it in the microwave oven for a few seconds)

2 Tbsp. Greek yogurt or sour cream

2 Tbsp. sugar

1 egg

1/4 tsp. vanilla

pinch salt

1 Tbsp. strawberry jam

1/2 tsp. water

1 cup ice cream

2 Tbsp. milk

4 graham crackers
3 Tbsp. whipped cream

a strawberry for garnish

Here’s how to make this. It may take a little bit more effort than the average milkshake, but trust us, it’s so worth it!

In a small bowl that’s microwave-safeĀ  mix together the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, sugar, egg, vanilla and the pinch of salt. Try getting out as many lumps as possible. If you can’t get them all out, that’s okay but the smoother it is the better the taste will be.
Now cover with plastic wrap and leave a small hole on one side for any steam to escape and place in the microwave for around 1 minute. After 1 minute continue to microwave in 20 second intervals until the center has cooked and no longer jiggles when you shake the bowl.
Now comes the easy part. Put your ice cream, milk, 2 of your graham crackers and your microwaved mixture into a blender and blend until smooth! Pour into a glass and garnish with the strawberry jam, the rest of your graham crackers and your strawberry! Your milkshake is ready to be served!
