If you have never had a calzone in your life than you need to start living! Calzones are one of the quickest and easiest meals to make that are so incredibly mouthwatering. We’re going to show you how to make BBQ Chicken Calzones. BBQ Chicken is definitely one of our favorites so combined within a calzone is just amazing. The perfect quick meal when you’re running out of time that literally takes less than 30 minutes.
- 1 13.8 ounce can of Pillsbury refrigerated classic pizza crust
- 1 1/3 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 1/3 cup of shredded already cooked chicken
- ½ cup of shredded mozzarella of cheddar cheese
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Use a cookie sheet and spray it lightly with some cookie spray your calzones wont stick. Place your dough onto your cookie sheet and begin to roll out your dough into one large rectangle, then slice into 4 smaller rectangles. In a separate bowl coat your shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce and once done place onto half of each calzone. Sprinkle your ½ cup of mozzarella (or cheddar cheese) ontop and begin to fold the dough over pressing down with a fork to seal the edges. Bake in the over for about 10 to 12 minutes until your calzones reach a light golden brown and enjoy!
