Plus it contains bananas, so it’s not even unhealthy, right? It’s the perfect complement to your morning coffee and it’s just as delicious as a midnight snack. If you’re wondering how to recreate this favorite at home then follow the recipe below! You will need:

½ cup of unsalted butter
1.5 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
4 mashed bananas (make sure they are ripe!)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of vanilla essence

Process:
The best part about this recipe is that you don’t even need an electric mixer! Everything can be done by hand. Start by creaming the butter and the sugar together. Mix them thoroughly until they have incorporated completely. Next, beat the two eggs together. Add them to the butter and sugar mixture along with your mashed bananas. In a separate bowl mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Make sure you sift these three powders because otherwise the mixture will become lumpy. It’s easier to sift them before they have been combined with the wet ingredients. Once they have been sifted together add them to the banana mixture along with the vanilla. Mix everything together well but remember not to over mix and this will make your banana bread crumbly instead of soft.
Now place the mixture in a loaf pan that has been greased generously with butter. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 – 60 minutes. You can check if the banana bread has cooked by using a toothpick to poke into the middle of it. If the toothpick comes out clean then your bread is done!
When your bread has finished cooking, let it cook for at least 20 – 25 minutes before you serve it. Try not to eat the whole thing in one sitting!
